Sugarbowl and cover, hard-paste porcelain, bucket-shaped with straight sides raised on a stem that has angular sides narrowing in toward a circular pedestal base, two ring handles are moulded on either side, conical cover with a flat top atop which sits a conical-shaped finial that has curved sides and a pointed tip; the handles and the finial are gilded, the sugarbowl is banded with gilt line borders around its interior and exterior rim, base and on either side of the stem as well as with a dotted border around the top of the base and a continuous leaf border around the middle of the stem, gilt line borders decorate the rim of the cover and encircle its flattened top, painted with gilt sprigs and birds perching on gold branches.
