Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Mines Rescue Service, memorandum

A memorandum and two copies of certificates of safety stapled together. The six-page memorandum is typed in black ink on off-white paper. Some sections are underlined with notes in the margins, using red ink. Mines Rescue Memorandum No.15, May 1939. The first certificate is to certify that the Rotherham Emergency Fitting has been found safe for use. The second certificate stated that Brown's Utility Apparatus has been found safe for use. Both are copies. All documents with the accession number 88.98I/6 were originally contained together in an acidic card file.
