Coffee pot, red stoneware, standing on a flat spreading waisted foot-rim, pear-shaped body with bulbous lower body and cylindrical neck, straight spout coming out at a diagonal from the lower body, scrolled loop handle with raised thumb-spur, round domed cover with flat collar-like rim, a disk-shaped finial to the top of the cover, a pierced steam hole to the centre of the finial; decorated with around the lower body of the coffee pot a sprigged relief frieze of chinoiserie-style figures, around the neck of the coffee pot a sprigged relief frieze of foliate scrolled motifs, the same motifs in sprigged relief to the sides of the cover, impressed dentilled bands around the shoulder, neck and lip-rim of the coffee pot and around the lower sides of the cover, unglazed.
