Wheel-thrown, high-sided earthenware teabowl, red brown clay, unglazed footring, shallow everted base, narrow cup shaped form, interior marked with pronounced throwing lines, front with Orientally-inspired decoration of a spray of small leaves and stalks, yellow-green chestnut ash glaze, partly cystallised, especially in cup interior. Body showing around rim, around incised decoration and around rim.
