Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Chair

The back has a vase shaped splat, a plain bottom rail, and a shaped cresting rail pierced with a heart shape. The back legs are plain square, flattened towards the top terminating in flat knobs. Front legs turned. Plain stretchers, front one missing. Wooden seat. The legs are shortened and the side stretchers worn and shaped into rockers.
