Bronze Age Gold from Wales
Pot
Pot, stoneware, slender barrel-shaped form with deeply inset base, concave lower section, swelling body and slightly everted rim, wide band of manganese slip below the rim, off-white slip covering the rest of the body abraded with predominantly vertical marks round the waist of the pot and revealing signs of a bluish-white slip beneath, a brown glaze inside.
