Tea-caddy and cover

Tea caddy, hard-paste porcelain, rectangular form with straight sides, curved shoulder and short neck, straight-sided domed cover with flower finial; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the body and cover a criss-cross pattern of floral festoons tied by purple ribbons and with two exotic birds perched amongst them, gilt lines around the lower body, shoulder, neck and rim of the cover, the finial painted in naturalistic enamels.
