Sugar bowl and cover, soft-paste porcelain, circular, footring, slightly domed cover with a button finial, ribbed sides, shaped edge; painted with cornflower sprigs, the inside rim and the cover are decorated with a gold line border and a border of continuous cornflower sprigs, the footring is decorated with a gilt line border, the edges and the finial are gilded.
