Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Twist box

Brass oval twist box, with inscription on lid. The twist box belonged to the donor's grandfather David John Mathews, who was born on 7 July 1891 in Gorseinon. He died on 8 September 1959 of lobar pneumonia following massive pneumoconiosis at the West Wales Isolation Hospital in Upper Tumble.
