(7131gt) : North Sands type cargo vessel built June 1943 by North Vancouver Ship Repairs, Vancouver, managed for MoWT by Sir William Reardon Smith & Sons, Cardiff. 1946 Transferred to MOT, managed by Brown, Atkinson & Co. 1950 Sold to Laurier Freighters Ltd., London and renamed SOREL (managed by Goulandris Brothers). 1952 Sold to Oakmount Steamship Co., Montreal and renamed SURFSIDE. 1953 Sold to Montezuma Cia Armadora, Monrovia, Liberia and renamed THERMITOR. She was broken up at Onomichi, Japan in 1963.
