Coffeepot, hard-paste porcelain, pear-shaped body narrowing at the neck which has slightly concave sides, circular pedestal base, loop handle that has a spur on the inner surface, short spout terminating in an animal head; the edge of the rim, neck, base, foot, spout and handle are decorated with gold bands, the neck is banded with a gold leaf border, the spout is decorated with gold beads and a gold wreath of leaves, painted with gilt sprigs and with one bird flying, two birds perching on a gold tree and one bird perched on a gold fence.
