Cup, two-handled and saucer

Spode (Factory)

Cup and saucer, bone china, cylindrical cup narrowing at the base and flaring out at the rim with two handles in the shape of winged horses, the saucer is circular with an outward-turned rim, footring; both are moulded with a prunus design on a gros bleu ground and decorated with gilt line borders, the handles are gilded.
