Pot, toilet and cover

Minton (Factory)

Toilet pot and cover, bone china, circular with a slightly flared rim, footring, domed cover with a moulded finial in the shape of a berry on a stalk and framed by three leaves; decorated with a blue celeste ground overpainted with cell-shaped surface decoration in gold, the pot is reserved with two panels in which are painted one boy playing a pipe and one boy holding a dove, the cover is reserved with two panels painted with bouquets of flowers, the finial is gilded, the rims are decorated with gilt bead borders and the footring is decorated with a gilt line border.
