LA SERENA, full hull ship model
Full hull model of the copper ore barque LA SERENA of Swansea.
LA SERENA was built by the Neath Abbey Iron Co. circa 1840s and was the first iron ship in the copper ore trade. She was owned by Bath's of Swansea. She was used in the Chilean copper ore trade, and as named after the city in Chile - La Serena.
