Cup, coffee

Coffee cup, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; standing on a rounded foot rim, London shape, and ogee handle; painted with set pattern 262; a circular reserve on the front and back, of a pink rose on a cream ground, within a wide border of underglaze blue with large gilt foliate scrolls issuing smaller foliate tendrils; a gilt band below and to the lip, foot rim, and on outer edge of handle; a pink rose heart inside the cup within an underglaze blue and gilt medallion.
