Dish, hard-paste porcelain, shaped oval form with short foot-rim and curving sides, to either end of the body twin handles which have broken off and are missing so that only the foliate moulded terminals remain; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the well a spray of flowers surrounded by scattered floral sprigs, the terminals of the handles picked out in pink and grey, a chocolate brown edge to the rim.
