Brecknock & Abergavenny Canal receipt, 1799. Issued to Mr Thomas Prothero for sum of £37 and 10/- for 12½% on share Nos.272, 360 & 693. Black print on cream paper with handwritten details in brown ink and four pence stamp charge embossed top left hand corner.
