Cup, soup and stand

Cream soup cup and stand, white earthenware with clear glaze, 'Fine' shape, the cup with an inset base, concave bevelled body immediately above the base, rising to vertical sides with two ledge handles, the stand with a foot ring, broad well and angled sides; transfer-printed with the Op-Art inspired 'Focus' pattern, the stand with a repeating motif border of a black circle on a grey square, followed by a grey-blue circle on a black square, the body of the cup also with a repeating motif pattern comprising a large black circle on a grey square, followed by a square of the same size made up of four smaller squares with overlying circles in the same colour palette as the motifs on the stand.
