Vase with cover, soft-paste 'duck-egg' porcelain, with yellowish green translucency, and a thick crackled glaze; standing on a square shallow plinth, and round pedestal base with acanthus leaf and beaded moulding; gadroon moulded bowl, and flared sides to flared flanged rim with acanthus leaf and beaded moulding; double curved spindle handles with embossed florets; flat-topped conical cover with beading, and pointed bud finial; painted on upper part of body, and on the cover, with a frieze of finely painted garden flowers, including convolvulus, pink roses, lupins, and a tulip; acanthus leaf moulding, gadrooning, and finial high-lighted in gilt, gilt bands to plinth edges, pedestal foot rim, collar lip, and cover; gilt handles.
