Pot, chocolate and cover

Chocolate pot, hard-paste porcelain, ovoid body with short curving spout, a cylindrical socket for the handle issues from the body at rightangles to the spout, feathered moulding around the base of the socket, domed cover with finial in the form of a flower bud and leaves; finely painted in polychrome enamels with a floral bouquet to one side of the body and scattered floral sprigs around the rest of the body and cover, around the shoulder of the pot and the sides of the cover a festoon border with a pink ribbon entwined with laurel leaves, gilt lines around the upper rim of the pot and the rim of the cover, the spout and handle socket edged in gilt, the finial painted in naturalistic enamels.
