Bronze Age Gold from Wales
Helmet
Colliery officials leather helmet (skull cap). Worn by Deputy David Rees who survived the Cambrian explosion in 1905. Mr Rees suffered burns and head injuries, but survived. He lived to the age of 86 years at Clydach Vale, Rhondda.
