Vase, earthenware, flat base from which curve the sides of the vase into a short vertical wall from which flares out a trumpet-shaped body with a flared flattened rim, the bottom is wider than the rim; the interior is glazed, the exterior is painted black, the rim is transfer-printed with a cell border in red, the vertical sides are transfer-printed with a border of flower motifs and waved lines in red, the main body is decorated with a frieze of figures in classical dress surrounded by classical motifs in red transfer-print.
