Plate, soft-paste porcelain, short foot-rim, curving sides and spreading rim with a scalloped edge, the rim moulded witha pattern of interlacing arches; the well finely painted in puce monochrome with a view of 'La Sainte Chandelle d'Arras', showing a building with dome and tall spire in the middle of a town square, the rim covered with a yellow ground with the moulded arches left white and edged in gilt, gilt lines around the edge of the well and the rim.
