WALTERS, Evan (1893-1951)

T. Gwynn Jones (1871-1949) was a hugely productive and influential scholar and academic in Welsh literature: he was a prolific poet, journalist, novelist, essayist, literary judge, biographer and translator. He was also ahead of his time in experimenting with forms of poetry, and developed the vers libre gynganeddol, which can be seen in his last volume, Y Dwymyn (1944).
