Cup, coffee and saucer

Coffee cup, hard-paste porcelain, cylindrical form, handle broken off and missing; decorated in imitation of contemporary hatched designs used on satin, with around the exterior a pattern of chequered stripes of puce, green and blue, a brown edge to the rim. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, inset base and out-curving sides; decorated in imitation of contemporary hatched designs used on satin, with around to the upperside of the saucer a pattern of chequered stripes of puce, green and blue, a brown edge to the rim.
