Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Basket and cover, bone china, circular body with straight sides which widen toward the rim, indented base, the handle is composed of two strips which entwine as it loops over the top of the basket, the cover is slightly domed and is pierced; the edges of the basket and cover and handle are gilded, the basket and handle are encrusted with modelled flowers and the cover is painted with roses and insects.
