Full size replica of a mid nineteenth century bar iron bogies used on the gauge of the Merthyr Tramroad (4ft 4in gauge over the flanges of the tramplates). Built by Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales in 1981 and formerly displayed with the Museum’s reconstruction of the Penydarren locomotive.
