Plate, earthenware, flat slightly concave base, curving sides and spreading concave rim with a lobed edge; transfer-printed in blue with the 'Crane' pattern, to the well two cranes stand in a pool surrounded by enormous flowers, around the rim a wide border of flowes and exotic birds superimposed over gothic arches.
