Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Vase, with cover

Of elongated oval section, each side with a lion and ring handle, and standing on a stepped oval pedestal; the cover terminating in a lathe turned knop in brass. Black japan, decorated in stylised flowers painted in silver, red and blue, with leaves shaded in bronze and green. Gilded band to rim. Varnished.
