Late Bronze Age harness fitting

In the form of a rectangular plate divided vertically into three parts by narrow raised ridges, the two upper panels being of approximately equal width, the lower about half. The middle panel is pierced by six roughly equally-spaced rectangular openings. Along the lower edge of the plate are attached five discs with hollow-moulded concentric circles around a central boss. There are three equally spaced loops near the top edge of the plate on the reverse.

Notes: found in a small area on the east side of Llyn Fawr lying in peat on the bed of the lake, which was at that time being cleared to facilitate the completion of a reservoir
