Tea bowl and saucer

Tea bowl, soaprock porcelain, short foot-rim and rounded sides; transfer-printed in underglaze blue with around the exterior sides the 'fence' pattern, an oriental-style design of a fence enclosing rocks and flowering plants, around the rest of the exterior sides secondary prints of rocks, flowers and birds, a further print of leaves to the interior bottom of the bowl, two blue lines around the interior lip-rim. Saucer, soaprock porcelain, short foot-rim and curving sides; transfer-printed in underglaze blue with to the well the 'fence' pattern as on the cup, a secondary print of rocks and flying birds, two blue lines around the rim.
