Canadian type vessel built 1945 as FAIRMOUNT PARK by Burrard Dry Dock Co Ltd., North Vancouver (engine by Dominion Engineering Works Ltd., Montreal), for Park Steamship Co., Montreal, managed by the Montreal, Australia & New Zealand Line, Montreal. 1946 – Sold to Bristol City Line (Canada) Ltd., Montreal,and renamed MONTREAL CITY. 1951 – Under the same owner, but managed by Charles Hill & Sons, Bristol. 1959 – Sold to Polska Zegluga Morska, Szczecin, Poland, and renamed HUTA BAILDON. She was converted as floating storage at Gdansk in 1967, and broken up in Poland in 1980. (MarinersList/ Park ships)
