Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Apron

White cotton apron worn by Muriel Lennox during the First World War. She was a VAD nurse and a member of the St John Ambulance Association, Barry Nursing Division.

Ankle length, wrap-around skirt, with buttoned waist. Shoulder straps with button-holes for fastening at back of waist. One has two plain patch pockets, the other has two shaped patch pockets.
