Teapot and cover

Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, bulbous body, curving spout and ear-shaped handle, small domed cover with a finial modelled in the form of a flower head and leaves; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to one side of the body a landscape with a stag, and to the other side a landscape with a hare, two floral sprigs to the sides of the cover, the handle picked out in gilt, gilt lines around the spout foot-rim and neck, an elaborate gilt border around the bottom of the cover, the finial painted in puce and green enamels.
