Cup, tea and saucer

Tea cup, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim, rounded sides and loop handle with strap-like moulding, a border of moulded scrolls around the lip-rim; coarsely painted in puce with to the front of the cup a landscape, two floral sprigs around the rest of the exterior sides with further sprigs to the interior of the cup, the handle picked out in gilt, a gilt line around the rim. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim and curving sides; coarsely painted in puce with to the well a landscape surrounded by three floral sprigs, a gilt line around the rim.
