Rogers, Terry F.J. (Born in 1922, Newport. Served in the Royal Navy on the Atlantic & Arctic convoys during the Second World War. After war became a painter and decorator. Gave that up in the mid 1970s due to illness and became an artist. At first painting ships he was familiar with, especially Newport ships, and later moving onto sailing vessels.)
Close hauled on opposite tracks, the schooner ELLEN BEATRICE, built 1865, crosses the stern of the Cardigan smack CHARMING NANCY. Artists initials 'TFR' lower left hand corner. Undated. Framed.
