Full title :- Royal Navy No 2 Dress, Petty Officer, Marine Engineer and Mechanic. Black trousers with zip fastener two side pockets and one back pocket with button fastener and adjustable tapes(2) at waistband with makers label sewn inside to back pocket lining reading "Trousers Mens R.N. ratings Class I&III-78405-99-132-4857 Vocas 239 12 A/78/CLO/57178/CB/CT/3B

H.M.S. GLAMORGAN. County-class destroyer laid down September 1962 and launched 1964 by Vickers-Armstrong, Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Commissioned by the Royal Navy in October 1966. She underwent a major arms refit in 1977-79 including construction of accomodation for her on-board Wessex helicopter. SHe had another refit in 1982 following damage sustained by the enemy in the Falklands War. 1986 – Decommissioned, and sold to the Chilean Navy and renamed ALMIRANTE LATORRE, where she served until 1998. She was sold for scrap in 2005 and sank at sea while under tow to be broken up.
