Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Medieval copper alloy ring

A ring of brass, of plain workmanship, and of very full size: within is engraved a motto – LOVE MEE. This very matter-of-fact direction stamps it as a love-token, doubtless highly esteemed on account of the donor, but not intrinsically valuable…found at Caerleon, but it is not known under what circumstances.
