Bronze Age Gold from Wales

Roman bone scabbard box chape

Bone scabbard box chape. The central part of a front plate decorated by a raised central rib dividing a raised ellipse with a pair of incised scrolls near the top. There is a small circular hole in the top left corner, this probably took a rivet to help secure it to the scabbard.
