Sucrier with cover

Sucrier, hard-paste porcelain, inset base within a flattened-off foot-rim, rounded curving sides, round domed cover with to the top an apple finial with two leaves and a stem; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to either side of the exterior body of the sucrier and to either side of the top of the cover a group of fruit bordered below by rococo scrolls in puce, around the rest of the exterior sides of the sucrier and the top of the cover scattered sprigs of fruit and single pieces of fruit, gilt edges to the lip-rim of the sucrier and the rim of the cover, the finial painted in puce, yellow and green.
