Tea bowl (chawan), Asahiyaki stoneware, marbled body using mixed red Cornwall and buff Uji clays, flat base and rounded profile, partially covered inside and out with a poured and crackled celadon-blue St Ives glaze. With box and lid, sugi wood, with inscriptions.
