Teapot and cover

Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, 'neuzierat' model, bulbous body tapering towards the base, relief moulded scrolls around the shoulder trailing moulded leaves down the sides of the body, short curving spout with rococo moulding, scrolled and moulded handle with moulded flowers issuing from the upper terminal, cover with a flower finial and relief moulded scrolls; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to either side of the body a large spray of flowers with further floral sprigs and insects scattered around the rest of the body and the cover, the spout and handle picked out in shades of green, brown and pink, the finial painted in naturalistic enamels, a gilt edge to the cover.
