Three shotfiring battery keys (two MERs and 1 single shot) on a carrying ring. Used by the late Trevor Gough.

Trevor Gough was born in 1933 and was 16/17 years old when he started his training at Oakdale Colliery to become a miner. When he finished his training at Oakdale he was employed at Six Bells Colliery (circa 1949/50). He was a miner until 1964 when he decided to train as an official. His first job was shot firing. He worked at Six Bells until his retirement through ill health in 1986.
