Seal impression: Christ's Hospital, Ruthin
The Risen Christ emerging from the tomb decorated by seven cinquefoils, his hand and side bearing themarks of nail and spear, a rayed nimbus around his head,his right hand upraised in blessing, his leftgrasping a long cross to which is attached a banner, in the shape of a dove, depicting a cross; to either side are bemused guards with spears and lances, and on scrolls inthe field occurs the text: EGO SVM RESVRRECTIO ET VITA ('I am the Resurrection and the life'; St.John 11/25). Beaded borders.
