Blue cotton twill short sleeved shirt, machine sewn with black plastic buttons worn by Rover Scout. Simple construction made in 4 main sections, reinforcement at the shoulders and a small collar. Button fastening half way down CF ( 4 buttons) 2 breast pockets with flaps and pleats and a button on each. There is a red and blue ‘boy scouts’ badge sewn to the left pocket and a navy and white initial badge sewn to the right pocket. Above the right pocket is a red badge with the Cardiff coat of arms, above the left pocket is a name badge which reads ‘1924 ERIK MENVEDS TROP’ also sewn on. Above this is a green and blue fabric badge with a flame motif and Greek text? There are epaulets on the shoulders with a button on each. On the right sleeve head is another fabric badge which reads ‘3rd CARDIFF R.E.R’s OWN’
