Fairly good ware and slip. Panel decoration: (i) probably = (iii) ; (ii) double vertical panel, upper compartment - two cupids r. (D.231 and 234) with large and small rosettes, and detached anchor ornaments in field, lower - small straight wreath (cf.B.M.C.,Pl.XXXIII,3) ; (iii) large floral festoon containing gladiators r. and l. (cf.Brecon Gaer, S94) with large and small rosettes in field, with three acanthusleaves set cruciform fashion below. The same subjects are used on Brecon Gaer, S94 (Fig.74) which is dated to the Trajanic period.
