Iron Age iron latch lifter
Fragmentary iron bar of square cross section, looped around at one end to form a ring head. The ojbects is extermely corroded but the curve of the bar can be seen and it may have been used as a latch lifter. A small curved piece of iron was found in the same bag but is not necessarily from the same object.
