Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
The 1951 Llanrwst Eisteddfod chair was the gift of the Welsh people of Patagonia. They contributed worth £80 in pesos towards the chair that was made in Wales, not Patagonia. It was designed by Ellis Berwyn Evans - a design that was adapted for other Eisteddfoddau in the 1950s.

Solid wood construction with undyed hide upholstered seat and back. Plain wood curving arms supported by carvings of South American Indians. Front legs tapered. Back legs curved. Back of seat covered with leather also. Back of seat has tooled depiction of dragon rampant in the leather.
