Seal Impression: unknown ecclesiastic
Beneath a Renaissance-type canopy, St.Helena (patron saint of Cliffe Church) crowned and wearing a flowing ermined cloak, her left hand holds the True Cross, her right hand a sceptre flory. In base, on the masonry of the corbel, the letters: H.WESTON. In field, within a line dancetty, the letters, dext. m.o.s.; sin. s.o.m. (possibly : in.c.s. 'invention of the holy cross').
