Early Bronze Age human remains
Two/three depressions were uncovered beneath consolidated soil located on the top right-hand side of the cranium. These were not fully cleaned out to preserve evidence of their being soil-filled, suggesting possible antiquity. Their shape is odd and they have neither pierced the skull nor cracked it upon impact. This may be consistent with damage to fresh rather than aged bone(?). The head rested on this side at the time of burial as indicated by the internal staining of the cavity. This has not been cleaned to preserve this evidence.
Loose tooth calculus was bagged and retained.
